The Fourth Episcopal District (comprised of Canada, Chicago, Illinois, India, Indiana, and Michigan) Women’s Missionary Society, under the general supervision and leadership of Supervisor Penny Hartsfield White, will be holding a Queen’s Contest to raise funds throughout the district to help move its delegation of youth, young adults, and seasoned members to attend the 19th Quadrennial Convention in 2019. The Literacy Program will resume on December 5, 2017 through April 12, 2018 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Arthur Eddy Academy. It will include various activities designed to help Arthur Eddy Academy’s 3rd grade students become proficient readers. All books and materials will be furnished. A special training session for all adult tutors will take place at Bethel Church on Wednesday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m. promptly. Applications for the program are available at the Church office.
